Recommended Retractable Tie Down Straps for Use with etrailer Carrier e98873

Question:

For theMaxxTow, can you recommend the EASIEST push-button release retractable tie down straps to use? Also, ones that are strong enough that I only need to use two for a 280 lb. bike. Are the bolt on retractable straps an option? Can I adjust where they bolt on? What are the benefits of the bolt on straps? Thanx.

I have a great solution for easy to use retractable tie downs for use with the etrailer carrier part # e98873. For that we have the Erickson Tie Downs part # EM34416 which have S-hook ends, a 1,100 lb capacity, and have easy to use push button retract mechanisms.

You'd only need to use a pair of these and you'd be set. I wouldn't recommend a permanent install set of tie downs on this carrier as there isn't an area designed for the attachment and the rack was designed for the hook style.
