Pin Box Hitting Tailgate on 2019 GMC Sierra 3500
Question:
What do you do if the back of the pin box hits the tailgate when using the slider feature? Answer my question? Using slider feature of BandW companion hitch causes it to hit tailgate?

Okay, we'll answer the question; the pin box should not be hitting the tailgate when you are using the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3770. If this pin box can be adjusted with a different bolt setting you can try that, otherwise the most cost-effective option by far is a 5th wheel tailgate.
There are two 5th wheel tailgates that fit a 2019 GMC Sierra 3500, the best of which is the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock for GM Trucks # VGM-14-4000 because of its locking feature, though there is also the option of the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate with Open Design for GM Trucks # VGM-14-100.
Both of these tailgates have a 12 inch cutout to prevent the unfortunate damage you are seeing, and fit a 3500 base model, SLE, and SLT model with or without Lift Assist.
I've added links to a number of video reviews for you to check out.
