What Wire Need to Run from 7-Way Adapter to Battery on 2013 Suburu Outback to Install Curt Echo
Question:
Thanks Jameson! Can you confirm that this Echo unit will work on my 2012 Subaru Outback (no towing package - I have installed a 4-pin plug with an adapter to match up to my 7-blade trailer plug).

You are going to need a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) and a breaker like part # 9510 to complete the wiring needed to install the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180. On your adapter the pin for completing the circuit will be in the 1:00 position. Which gets ran from there, under the vehicle avoiding any hot exhaust components or other components that might pinch up the positive terminal of the battery. While we don't have specific instructions on how to do this on a Outback like yours I did attach a help article that covers running a wire from the rear of a vehicle to a battery which will be helpful.
