How Do I Know What Size Trailer Hitch Pin Lock I Need

If i wanted to buy locking pin so i can keep bike rack locked on would the size by 5/8?

The correct size locking hitch pin you will need will be dependent on what size trailer hitch receiver you have. If the trailer hitch receiver has a 1-1/4" opening then you need a 1/2" pin, the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock part # 5200 but if the trailer hitch receiver has a 2" or 2-1/2" opening then you will need a 5/8" pin, the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock part # C23519.
