How to Adjust Weight Distribution Spring Bar Tension
Question:
HI, we are having the same problem that Pam had in the below issue resolved earlier. The videos dont show though and Im hoping you can send me those. Our spring arms are very hard to get over and the pegs of the lift bracket and once undone we have to beat them to move them side to side. Thanks!

Bar tension in a weight distribution hitch like the Husky Center Line # HT32218 can be adjusted either by the tilt of the hitch head (which is controlled by addition or removal of washers) or by the bracket height on the trailer frame. Installation and removal of spring bars requires using the trailer tongue jack to release tension. This is noted in the linked article in Step 5. I also linked a video for a different system but the process is the same.
