Under Body Panel Trimming Location for Curt Trailer Hitch Installation on a 2012 Honda CR-V
Question:
i just ordered a 11555 for my honda crv. I seen a customer had sent in a couple of pictures of his install. He mentioned that the diagram for the plastic underbody cutout is not for the 2012 . Do u have a digram underbody cut cheat sheeet i could get ? thanks

I spoke with my contact at Curt about the trimming diagram in the instructions for hitch # 11555. He stated that the instructions are specifically for the 2012 model so you should not need a different diagram when it comes time to trim the panel.
I was able to obtain a picture, which I have attached, that shows where Curt had taped down the panel to trim for reference. I have also included a link to the installation details for you.
If you are planning on doing some towing, the hitch does come with a ball mount, hitch pin, and clip. For a ball you can use 1-7/8 inch diameter # 19256 or 2 inch diameter # 19258.
