In order to install a 7-pole trailer connector on your 2004 Nissan Frontier you will need two separate parts; a 4-way for which I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118362 and then a 4 to 7-way adapter for which I recommend the 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat part # ETBC7.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness is plug and play and then the 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat plugs into this but does require a few other wires to be ran. The nice thing about the 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat is that it provides you with all the needed components for a brake controller for which I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160. If your trailer has brakes then that's all you need for the wiring, just these three parts.
Unfortunately, they do not make an all inclusive or direct fit 7-pole for your Nissan Frontier which is why you need to combine the above parts.
