Does the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack BD500187 Use a Fuse or Circuit Breaker

Hi Im seeing conflicting statements about a fuse popping or a circuit breaker tripping. When you hit the limit on this jack either up or down, will it trip every time? what is the process to reset? which is it, a fuse or a breaker?

The Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack part # BD500187 has a built-in auto resetting circuit breaker. There isn't a reset procedure for this, since the breaker is thermally operated it will allow power to pass though once the temperature has receded to normal levels. If there is enough strain on the jack to cause the motor to draw more power than it is designed to then the breaker will trip, yes. This could be a result of either overloading the jack or a short.
