Height of Base of Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers

Question:

My wife and I have a hybrid camper where the beds fold down like a pop-up. I saw someone already asked a question about removing the top part of the bike rack. I was wondering what the height would be of what’s left, basically from the top of the frame to the top of the jack-it base. I have 27 inches of clearance from the top of the frame to the bottom of the bed.

The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 base only portion will absolutely fit under the slide out you are asking about. Both the bike rack and the offset adapter will need to be removed, but the base that is bolted in place will be fine. The total height of that one piece is 25-15/16 inches and I've attached a photo with that as well as some other dimensions on that piece to assist. This will give you 1-1/16 inches clearance for the slide.
