Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2016 Dodge Charger to Tow Small Trailer
Question:
I have a 2016 Dodge Charger that I barely drive because I can’t take my power chair along with us anywhere we go as a family. I usually have to rent one which is never suited for my disorder. I am wondering if there is a hitch and a trailer I can buy si I can tow my chair? It weighs about 400 lbs . You would make my year if you have something I can use, it’s sitting with only a few hundred miles on it and it is the all wheel drive model. V6 loaded sXT I’m hoping you can help me.

We have a great hitch for your 2016 Dodge Charger and everything you'd need to tow with it but we do not have a small trailer like you are wanting.
The best hitch solution will be the Draw Tite part # 76145 that you mentioned as it's a 2 inch hitch with plenty of capacity at a great price.
Next thing you'll need is trailer wiring like the Tekonsha kit part # 118655 which is very easy to install and comes with a very reliable converter box.
Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
