Can Bias and Radial Tires be Used Together on a Tandem Axle Trailer

Can I have both D15 and R15 tires on my dual axel trailer?

Even if your bias and radial tires are the same size, like 225/75-15 parts # AM1ST96 and # TTWTRTM2257515D, bias and radial tires track differently so you will get uneven tread wear plus they have slightly different builds with bias tires having a stiffer sidewall while radials are built with more flexible sidewalls. This can also cause weird tread wear on your tires.
It is always best to use the same exact tire for every position on your trailer including the spare.
