Bike Rack and Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek
Question:
I typed in a Subaru 2014 Crosstrek and this part number comes up but on the screen it states NOT CONFIRMED TO FIT 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek so what bike rack/part number do I order?

The correct Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for your 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek is part # C13135. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13409 that you referenced is for a Subaru Forester and will not fit your Subaru XV Crosstrek. I have attached an install photo/video for you as well.
For a bike rack, the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack part # SA4412B that you were looking at is an excellent choice because it will work with a ton of different types of bike frames. It is also super lightweight at only 22.5 lbs so it's easy to take on and off the vehicle. The only other things you might want to consider are locks, part # SA3022 for the rack and part # SA981 for the bikes but these are just optional.
