Will the Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Work with the B&W Gooseneck OEM Hitch Ball  

Question:

For a 2017 Nissan Titan xd , its not recommanded to use the reese elite serie gooseneck hitch but can we use the curt one or another brand.

It sounds like you are wanting to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5GX1216 on your 2017 Nissan Titan XD with the factory prep package but are aware of the issues using the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit part # RP30137. If that is the case then I would use the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ford, GM, and Nissan Titan part # BWGNXA2061 instead as the release is not built into the top of the hitch ball which is what causes issues with the above combo. The Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for Chevy, Ford, GM, and Nissan part # C60692 could potentially have the same issues as well so if you were going to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter I would go with the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ford, GM, and Nissan Titan.
