Will the Draw-Tite Class I Receiver Part # 24819 Fit a 2012 Toyota Yaris 5 Door Hatchback
Question:
Does this hitch fit the 2012 Toyota Yaris 5 door hatchback?

Expert Reply:
According to our friends at Draw-Tite, the Class I receiver you mentioned, part # 24819 will fit all 2012 Yaris liftback models, regardless of whether they are 3 door or 5 door. The distinction is made because in previous model years, the Yaris was also available in a Sedan model.
If you were planning on using the hitch for towing purposed, you might also need the following:
Draw bar and pin and clip, part # 3593
Trailer Wiring Harness, part # 119178KIT
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19256
2 inch trailer ball, part # 19258
If you were planning on using the receiver as a mounting point for a bike rack, you will need to choose a rack that is compatible with a Class I receiver, see the provided link.
I have provided a link to the hitch install instructions and an install video for your review.
