Can SeaSucker Monkey Bars Be Used as Roof Side Rails Running Front to Back?

Seasucker Monkey Bars as roof side rails that run front to back Hi, I have a Thule 5401 Snowcat Ski Rack for my previous car with raise side roof rails. I currently have a 2013 Porsche Cayenne with NO roof rails and a large moon glass roof. Porsche does not have option to add roof rails post factory. Can the Seasucker Monkey Bars be used as side roof rails to attached my Thule 5401 snowcat ski rack? Thank you.

You can use the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack - Vacuum Cup Mount - 48" Long # 298-SX6000B on your Porsche Cayenne but it is intended to be used as a roof rack. I reached out to my contact at SeaSucker and they said using as side rails shouldn't be an issue as the vacuum cups will hold (they are rated for 210 lbs pull each) but they haven't tested for that application so it wouldn't be supported by warranty. I've attached a video to show the strength of the vacuum cups.

They said they have even set up that type of thing at trade shows, but each application is different so that is why they can't extend the warranty to cover it. They are fairly confident you wouldn't have issues but you would be taking the risk if you choose to give it a shot.
