The Reese Goosebox 5th wheel adapters are the very best way to allow towing a 5th wheel trailer with a gooseneck hitch. They add no extra stress to the trailer frame and are endorsed by Lippert which makes most of the RV frames in the industry. These Air-Ride couplers also give you a smoother ride than a standard pin box.

We offer three versions of the Reese Goosebox and each one replaces certain specific OEM pin boxes. Here are the items and the standard 5th wheel pin boxes they replace:

20K # RP85FR replaces Lippert pin boxes 1621, 1621HD, 0719 (and 1716 too if you add spacer kit # RP61301)

16K # RP94716-61301 replaces Lippert pin boxes 0115, 1116 and 1716

You can confirm your OEM pin box either by finding the part number on its main sticker, contacting the trailer maker with your VIN or by referring to the linked article that shows you how to measure your current pin box. The appropriate Goosebox will bolt right up in place of it.
