I do have some solutions for you but unfortunately there are no puck systems (like what you would get OEM) for your 2014 Ram 1500.
If you have the 6-1/2' bed then you can actually use the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1309 with the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400 so that you have a completely clear bed when you remove the 5th wheel hitch.
For a 5-1/2' bed though you will need the base rail kit # RP50142-58 along with a fixed 5th wheel hitch like the 16K # RP30047 and the custom wedge # SWW-03 so that you can swap out your pin box for a Sidewinder for 22" of turning clearance. Sidewinder pin boxes are specific as to what they replace so I'd need to know your pin box number to make a recommendation from the linked selection.
Something else you may be interested in is a 7-Way connector that you install in the bed of your pickup. The Pollak # PK11893-11932 will do just that which makes connecting/disconnecting the wiring from your 5th wheel hitch much easier.
