How To Help Prevent Sag While Towing with a 2019 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Timbren does not list any SES system that fits the 2018 and 2019 Odysseys. I contacted customer service who informed me that they have a prototype kit HROD3 that should be in production for the current Odysseys in the next couple of weeks. The THROD2 model will not fit the 2019 and presumably the 2018 Odyssey. I have 2019 Odyssey with a drawtite hitch and wiring kit purchased from etrailer in the last month. The new van suffers from sag like my old Odyssey. I used Airlift 1000 airbags in the rear coils of the old van. Unfortunately, Airlift no longer makes a kit for the current Odysseys because the coils are tapered which will not allow the bag to be mounted in the coil. Timbren at least will have an option soon.

I actually do have an option for your 2019 Honda Odyssey to help with sag and for that you can use the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs which are a great option for smaller tow vehicles with a rear coil spring suspension. These are spacers that get installed in between the coils and help to keep them for compressing as much when a load is applied. They are super easy to install and take off as well. In order to get you the correct kit I would need you to take the measurements listed in the photo. Once you get these please let me know so I can confirm a part number.
