Ground Clearance Measurement for Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75908 on 2019 Kia Sorento

In Jason S.s expert reply to the above thread, the height of the receiver and depth to hole measurements are different from what is in the video for the DT #75908. It does not seem possible that the receiver could be as high as he says.

The ground clearance and hitch pin hole to bumper measurements you referenced seeing on another answer page for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75908 were taken with the hitch installed on the 2017 model Kia Sorento. The slight changes on your 2019 model Sorento cause these measurements to differ with the same hitch mounted. Other variables such as tire size, rear cargo, etc can change these measurements a bit as well even within the same model year so it's important to note that they are simply a reference point.

When we installed this Draw-Tite hitch on the 2019 Kia Sorento we measured a height of 12-3/4 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver and 5 inches from the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper. I have attached the full install video that you can check out as well.
