I do have some options for you but there is not a pre-wired brake controller port on your 2004 Lincoln Aviator. Therefore, you will need to hardwire as that is your only option for a traditional brake controller. If you don't already have a brake controller, I recommend using the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 which is one of the most cost effective proportional brake controllers on the market and it has a lifetime warranty. In order to hardwire this brake controller you will also need to use the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers part # 5506.
If you don't want to deal with hardwiring then I do still have an option for you in the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which will be plug and play so long as you have power on the 12 volt circuit of your 7-way. This option won't require any modifications to the vehicle and it uses a smartphone, a device you are most likely familiar with.
