Why Would P2 Brake Controller Be Hard to Remove from Sleeve Bracket to Access Release Tab

Question:

Hi too have the P2.. am frustrated as I can not unplug the plug from the P2.. I have the slide in case.. and can not get to the top of that plug as it is up tight against the plastic dash shroud.. any help would be appreciated

Is there not enough slack in your cable to pull the P2 forward enough out of the sleeve to access the release tab? If not you may have to drop the sleeve bracket so that you can release the tension to allow it to come out far enough to release. Then after that you would want to reinstall the bracket close enough that there would be enough slack to allow it to be accessed.
