Part Needed to Add Second 7-Way Trailer Socket to 2009 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I am interested in electric jack with 7 way adapter. Is there something that expands the factory 7 way to expand it to 2 7 ways, 1 for the trailer and 1 for the electric Jack?

To give your etrailer.com Electric Jack with 7-Way Plug # EJ-3527-BBX its own 7-way socket you can add part # A10-7007. This harness plugs in between the existing 7-way and the harness that connects to it. Both the factory 7-way socket and the additional one will carry all light and power signals. No cutting or splicing needed. This kit includes zip ties to allow you to secure any excess harness length. You can use mounting bracket # C58000.
Please keep in mind that adding the second 7-way socket does not increase the available 12V power from the vehicle.
