Distance to Furthest Part of Hitch Post Pro and Sport Rider SE Bike Racks for 2015 Ford F-150
Question:
Hello, I currently own a 2 tray style hitch bike rack similar to part #HR1400Z. I am looking to purchase a 4 bike tray style hitch but am concerned about how far the furthest tray is from the vehicle. What is the length from the center of the hitch pin to the furthest point of the 4th bike for the listed part #. Can you also provide the same measurement for the Thule rack part #TH934XTR? I own a 2015 Ford F-150. Thank You for your assistance

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z is approximately 46" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest part of the bike rack; the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR is approximately 38-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the arms. Just keep in mind that the Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR is a hanging rack as opposed to the tray-style (or platform) rack you mentioned you were interested in; when using any hanging rack you'll need bike frame adapter bar # 64005 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike.
Either of these racks are going to work really well with the 2" hitch on your 2015 Ford F-150 though the nature of any 4-bike rack is that they will add some overall length to your truck.
For example, when we test fit the Curt Trailer Hitch # C86HR on a 2015 F-150 we found that there was 3" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper so if you used the Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z you would be adding roughly 43" of length to your truck and the Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR will add about 35-1/2".
