Brake Controller Installation for 2015 Coachman Mirada LS Motorhome

Question:

Ive got 5 wires on my motorhome under the dash. I have red, white, blue and black. Also, there is a green one. What is the green one for? My brake controller only has 4 wires.

I can't find any diagrams to help you with that green wire. I suggest testing each one of them for function to see what you get. If it is the brake controller bundle then the red wire should only get power when the brake pedal is pressed, the white wire would be ground, the blue the brake controller output to the 5 o'clock pin on the 7-way trailer connector, and the black constant power. If you find these to be accurate using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 then you will be set for your brake controller installation matching color for color.

That green wire could be an illumination line that connects with your lights to give you the ability to dim power on some styles of brake controllers. You will need to test it because I honestly don't know what it would be as in some trucks that is the center high middle stop light power which may be the case here as well.
