Can the Dutton-Lainson Removable Wheel with Pin be Used for Trailer with 450 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
I used a removable wheel on my popup camper A-frame jack to move around on my concrete driveway. It was 2000# with a tongue wegit of 200#. I recently purchase a new camper that is 3500# with a tongue weight of 450#. Do you think I would be able to menuver the new camper around my driveway if I added a removable wheel like part DL22539? The camper is single axle like the popup was. Thanks

Since the Removable Wheel with Pin # DL22539 has a 1,250 lb weight capacity it will be able to handle the 450 lbs of tongue weight you now have. Please note that this fits jacks that have a 2" inner tube.
A 3,500 lb trailer might be a bit difficult to move by hand though. If you find this to be the case you may be interested in the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover # STC-V211. This installs by clamping around the frame of your trailer (up to 2-3/4" wide x 6" tall) and then allows you to use the hand crank to move the trailer. To make this process even easier you can throw the drill attachment # TVDA in the mix as well so you just hold down the power for your cordless drill to drive the chain drive system.
I have attached review videos for both products that you can check out.
