Will Tow Bar Cover fit Aventa II Tow Bar With KarGard Towers Installed

Question:

Have Blue Ox Aventa II tow bar. Recently purchased BX8870 KarGard from etrailer. Installed BX8870 tower bases Part number 293-1186 to tow bar. These tower bases are intended to be permanently attached. The Blue Ox tow bar cover purchased originally with the Aventa II tow bar is too small in diameter to fit over the tow bar with the tower bases installed. Can you confirm whether of not the BX8875 cover will fit the Aventa II tow bar with the BX8870 tower bases in stalled? The bases are show in the diagram on page 8 of the KarGard Operator, Parts, and Installation Manual. Thanks in advance for your help.

I reached out to Blue Ox who told me that yes, the Blue Ox Tow Bar Cover # BX8875 will fit if you have the Blue Ox KarGard Towed Vehicle Protector # BX8870 with the tower bases permanently installed.

They told me that it will fit, but it will "just be a tight fit" so it will work for you!
