Can Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Activate Two Trailers Brakes
Question:
Will a tekonsha P3 controller work on two trailers simultaneously? Both have electric brakes. The first trailer is a 5th wheel and the second trailer is a boat.

The Prodigy P3 # 90195 can work on up to 4 brake axles or 8 total brake assemblies. As long as your two trailer combined have no more than 4 brake axles the P3 would work fine. The power wire for the controller (black wire) will need to be protected with a 30 amp breaker like the part # 38630.
