Is LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant Comparable to Dicor Lap Sealant

Question:

This sounds a lot like Dicor 501LSW self leveling lap sealant. How similar are these two products? The Dicor has an organic solvent base that is flammable. Im not concerned about the flammability. I want a product that will seal and weather well. My application is for a King-Jack antenna installation on a fiberglass motorhome roof. Is the Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant an appropriate choice?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The LaSalle Bristol XTRM Self-leveling Sealant part # 34427034145-1 is very comparable to the Dicor 501LSW self leveling lap sealant. I can't say exactly what the formula is for Dicor but I can tell you that LaSalle Sealant is a silicone sealant used in numerous applications including the installation of RV roof accessories and we have great reviews from customers. It works well on Fiberglass and adheres to aluminum, brass, steel, glass, concrete, wood, and PVC. It also adheres to EPDM and TPO sheeting like the Dicor sealant.
