No Right Turn Signal Using HM48915 Wired to A Motorcycle

Question:

After installing the converter my right directional does not work on the trailer side. Checked bulbs and fuses but no power to that connection on the trailer end of the converter. Rechecked all wire connections and they are good. Is it possibly a bad converter? The light fuse did blow on my motorcycle but after replacing still no go on the converter having a right directional. The brake light works but it does not give me the directional. All other functions work perfectly.

First, It is a good idea to double check the ground from the Hopkins Converter part # HM48915. Make sure it is grounded to a clean bare metal surface.

If your ground connection is good, check that you are getting power to the right turn wire from the motorcycle's before the converter. if you are not getting power from the wire at the motorcycle, check the wire for any damage or frayed wiring. If you find you are not getting power from the right turn wire on the motorcycle, then those wires may need to be replaced.

If you are getting power from the right turn signal at the motorcycle before the converter but not through the converter box it may be a defective converter.
