How Does Fit Kit of Thule Wingbar Roof Rack Attach to 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Maybe it is because I havent mounted the 3142 kit to the roof yet, but there doesnt appear to be any threading or nut to hold the 3142kits 8x16mm bolts to the 460R podium?? Do the 8 bolts get held in place by just wedged or crooked alignment when I connect the kit to the 460R? I feel like there should be some nuts or threading involved for this connection to hold the 8x16mm bolts in place..?

If you check out the 4 minute mark of the review video I attached you'll see how to install the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH460R, # THKIT3142 and specifically how the fit kit attaches to the foot of the rack. Basically the fit kit fits down into the channels and then you use an included bolt to connect the fit kit through the foot down into the square nut in the channel.
