Wire Gauge of 10 Inch Electric Brake Assembly
Question:
What gauge wiring will part # AKEBRK-35L-SA have? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
The 10" Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - Left Hand # AKEBRK-35L-SA has 18 gauge wire, though you are going to want to use 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 to wire your brakes. As you can see by the title this is the left hand side of the assembly only so if you wanted both assemblies you will need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA.
These assemblies do not come with mounting hardware so you will need Mounting Hardware for 10" Single Brake Assembly # BRKH10BS if you plan on installing just the left side - or just the Right Hand # AKEBRK-35R-SA. For installing both assemblies you will need Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10B.
I have added links to video reviews for you to take a look at as well.
