Correct Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2011 or 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe with Towing Package

Question:

will the 30159 fit my 2012 Hyundia santa fe SE with towing package?, I do have the two connecters coming out of the rear driver side.

At this time the correct choice for the 2012 Hyundia Santa Fe SE with towing package is the Draw-Tite custom fit wiring, # 118258. Draw-Tite has tested this harness on the 2011-2012 models and verified that it will work without issue. I have attached a link to the installation instructions for you to review also.

You should verify, with a circuit tester, # PTW2993, that the connectors on your Santa Fe are fully functional before purchasing the tow package wiring harness. If one or more functions are not active, then you will need the T-One wiring harness, # 118415, see instructions link.

Valley, the manufacturer of the wiring harness has not yet verified that the Valley T-Connector wiring harness, # 30159, will work on the 2011 or 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. Looking at the connectors they look like they would be the correct fit, but a change to the internal circuitry may have been needed to make the harness compatible for the newer vehicles, and we cannot recommend the harness for them.
