Is a wiring harness relay addition required for trailer lights to work. Example: relay 118525?

If you are looking to install a 4-way on your 2002 Nissan Xterra you will need to go with a hardwired kit as your vehicle would not have pre-wiring which would then also require relays. For that you'd want the part # C59496.
