Troubleshooting and Replacement for Overextended Electric Trailer Jack

Question:

Jayco 2019 jayflight rv trailer. I have an electric jack on an a frame mount. I raised it up to level from front to back and it came to the end and now is locked up. I tried with the wrench provided but it hasnt moved it. My question is which way to I turn the wrench to make the front end come down lower. My trailer is 37 feet long

With an electric jack when using the manual crank you will go left to lower and right to raise. It sounds like your electric jack maxed out on height and that can cause damage to the internal threads which is likely the reason it is binding. Unfortunately if that is the case, replacing the unit is often the best option. If your motor didn't tear up the internal threads then you should be able to manually lower the jack and go back to normal operation once the threaded shaft is free to move.

My recommendation is the Electric Jack w/ Footplate - A-Frame - 25-1/8" Lift - 3.5K - Black # EJ-3520-BBX. When this jack gets to it's highest position it just stops preventing the issue the it sounds like you just experienced. I've attached a video to assist.
