Width of Kenda Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10295

Question:

i have a 30 foot gooseneck flat bed looking to replace the tires. currently on it is 235/85/16 load range e tire. the trailer will haul 14k pounds. would these tires be appropriate? they look narrow in the pictures are they narrow than i am thinking? thanks

The Kenda Karrier ST235/85R16 Trailer Tire # AM10295 referenced in your question matches the size and load range of your existing tires so it should have the same overall size. This particular tire has a section width of exactly 9.347 inches so you can also compare this to what you currently have to be sure.

This is a really nice radial trailer tire that will work great as a replacement on your gooseneck trailer. It features a maximum load of 3,640 pounds at 95 psi. Assuming you have a tandem axle trailer (4 tires) this will provide you with a combined load capacity of 14,560 pounds.
