Can I use the Go Power Weekender and Go Power Portable Panel in Conjunction With One Another
Question:
I have a 2019 Thor Four Winds 24F that is pre-wired for Go Power Solar, with a roof mount cable entry plate and a 10 amp controller. I’m planning on installing the Go Power 190watt weekender solar kit removing the 10 amp controller and replacing with the included 30amp controller and would like to know if this portable solar panel would be able to work in conjunction with the roof mount panel as an additional source of power when not on the road, utilizing just one 30 amp solar controller that will be installed in the rv. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Go Power Portable Solar Kit Part # 34282610 can be wired to the 30 amp controller that came with the 190 Watt Weekender kit part # 34282183. Basically you want to splice the wires from the Portable Solar kit into the wires going to the 30 amp controller. The 30 amp controller can handle 500 watts of solar power. The Weekender produces 190 watts and the Portable kit produces 200 watts of power so the 30 Amp works fine. I confirmed this with Go Power.
If you do not want to splice you can always just use the 10 amp controller that comes with the portable kit but Go Power says it's actually more efficient to wire both panels to the one 30 amp controller.
