Do I Need the EGT Probe to Do the DPF Regen on a 2015 Ford F-250 Diesel

Hi, I have a few questions. 2015 f250 6.7 1 I understand you can perform a regen using the cts2 monitor, Do you need to install any probe to be able to perform one or the probe is just to monitor the temps. 2 My DEF gauge is not reading right. Can I reset it using the CTS2

Correct, you can perform the diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration process manually on your 2015 Ford F-250 with the 6.7L diesel engine using the Edge Insight CTS2 Comprehensive Gauge Display part # EP84130. The EGT Sensor for Evolution CS and CTS Programmers part # EP98620 is not needed for this as it is just to read the exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) as you mentioned.

In regards to the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) gauge, the Edge Insight CTS2 Comprehensive Gauge Display cannot be used to reset this as that would need to be done at the dealer but you can use the device to monitor this as well to an extent.
