From what you described it sounds like you need to install the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-88400.
If your towed vehicle is the 2014 Jeep Wrangler that you input for your vehicle information then this makes sense. Typically we recommend disconnecting the battery when flat towing this vehicle. If you were to disconnect the battery then your SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 wouldn't cause the brakes to pulse when your blinker is used on your motorhome.
When I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster he said that when Jeep first came out with this model they called for the battery to be disconnected so that the steering would properly work. For some reason some of the 2014 Wranglers will still work okay without the battery being disconnected though.
If you choose to disconnect your battery (which the online version of the owner's manual calls for on page 552) then you may be interested in the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which easily allows you to connect the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25. You can also use the Automatic Battery Disconnect # RM-766 to make disconnecting your battery as simple as pushing a button.
