Question:
Install I have an 18 F150 that did not come with tow package. I have added hitch and 7 pin connector. How do I add this brake controller to this set up. Thanks

For your 2018 Ford F-150 I don't recommend the Curt Venturer but it will install in the same way as any other brake controller and for that installation you have a couple different options. If when you installed the 7-way you grabbed the factory wiring for your 12V and brake controller from near your driver's side wheel well, then I recommend using the wiring harness which will connect to the factory port under your dash. Some models don't have the brake controller power wire run under the dash, so if you don't get power then I recommend using kit # BRK-ELECKIT to get that power.
I've attached the installation instructions and a video to assist. This would be the recommended route, but I recommend using an economical proportional controller like # 39510 which has a far better reputation and compatible harness # 22292 under your dash.
If you would rather run direct wiring as some will choose to do, then you will use wiring kit # 5506 and I've attached a video to assist with that installation.
