I took a look at an online copy of the owner's manual for a 2018 Ford Edge and it says that you should use chains or cables that are no larger than 10mm on the front tires only, and those tires must be sized 235/60R18. However, your 235/65/R17 tires are almost exactly the same size, measuring just 0.1" smaller in diameter and with the same 9.3" width so you will safely be able to use chains.

The chains I recommend are the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2319 because their diamond shape links give you optimal tread on both snow and ice, and because they are simple to install.

These chains, which have a link which is just 3.7mm, well under the 10mm required for your vehicle, use links which are made from manganese nickel alloy steel to ensure they are not only highly durable but also resistant to any type of corrosion. Installation only require you to put the chain around your tire and then connect cables to tension the chains.

I have added links to a video review and install of the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2319 for you to take a look at.
