Bike Rack Solution for 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth

Question:

Would the Hollywood Over the top trunk bike rack fit the FIAT Abarth? It has a rear top spoiler that all other racks cant overcome. Thanks in advance.

The Hollywood Racks Over the Top part # HRF2-3 only fits the Pop trim versions of the 2012 Fiat 500 and not the Abarth. Instead your best option would be to go with a hitch mounted bike rack after installing the Curt Hitch part # C11347 which is a confirmed fit for the Abarth models.

For a bike rack I really like the Saris Freedom Superclamp part # SA4025F.

This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.

Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
