Can ETBC7 be Used to Install Curt Echo Brake Controller
Question:
Can this be installed directly without a wired brake controller and use the Curt Echo instead? Assuming it would mean just wiring the trailer brake wire to the vehicles brake line directly.

You could use the # ETBC7 to just install the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 if you wanted to but you'd have more parts than you'd need so it might be easier just to use the # 37185 as the adapter and then run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 to the positive post of your battery.
The # ETBC7 comes with those three parts but it also comes with extra relays and parts you wouldn't need. Another option would be just the part # ETBC7L and the # 9510 to swap out to the higher relay needed.
