Will the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Work with the Reese Semi-Custom Installation Kit
Question:
You named off a number of hitches that it will work with - Does it work with a Reese 16K set up? AND I already have the in-bed rails. I only need the frame kit. Will you sell just that to me? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30035-186 will work with either the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 or the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider part # RP30075. If you wanted just the frame brackets in this kit then you would need the Reese Mounting Bracket Kit part # RP58186 with the Replacement Left Side Long Bracket for Universal Fifth Wheel Install Kit part # 30719 and the Replacement Right Side Long Bracket for Universal Fifth Wheel Install Kit part # 30720. However, this option does not provide you with hardware for the two universal brackets. Therefore, it would be best if you used the above Reese Mounting Bracket Kit part # RP58186 but with the Reese Universal Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30439 instead. This option will give you a few extra parts but better extra than too few.
If you don't have the hardware for the base rails then you will also need the Replacement Hardware Kit for Reese 5th Wheel Base Rails part # RP58504. If this does not make sense to you then please just let me know.
