Troubleshooting Red Ring of GloLight LED Trailer Utility Tail Light Staying on
Question:
hello, the red glow ring on this lamp stays lit when all switches are off, we have other lights run in parallel that do not stay illuminated. any ideas? I am sure it is not the light obviously but I dont know where to look, would mere millivolts illuminate this? I can send pics if that will help thanks

Since the GloLight LED Trailer Utility Tail Light # UCL178RFP2B only has a max 0.50 amp draw I believe that you are on the right track where a little bit of power is still on the power wire and it is illuminating that ring.
What would remedy this issue you are having is to install a Light Bulb Load-Resistors # DI34ZR on the brown wire that connects to the running light circuit. These build up resistance so that it actually takes you sending power back for that function to activate the ring.
