What model transmission in a 2011 HHR cant be towed?

According to my research, the 2011 Chevrolet HHR came with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission and they are both flat-towable as is. However, you will be limited to a maximum of 65 mph while in tow. In order to tow the vehicle with all four wheels down you will need a few components which I have listed for you below:

Tow Bar - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520

Safety Cables - RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables part # RM-643
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700 and Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751428
Fuse Bypass - Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass part # RM76511

The Roadmaster Falcon 2 is an excellent option for you because it installs on the motorhome so whenever you need to disconnect the tow vehicle you just have to remove the quick-disconnect pins and you are free to go. The Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit has removable arms so after you remove the quick-disconnect pins you can also remove the arms if you like for a clean look but it is not required. In regards to the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, this option offers a one time install so you don't need to do anything but flip a switch each time you take the vehicle out of tow mode. The Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass will need to be installed on the #8 fuse.
