Recommended Towing Mirrors for 2017 Ford Explorer

I cannot seem to find any slip on towing mirrors for my 2017 explorer platinum. I have tried the cops #11900 universal ones but do not fit the oem mirror. Is there one you could recommend I try?

We do have some universal options that will work great on your vehicle but unfortunately there is not a custom slip-on style towing mirror that is confirmed to fit the 2017 Ford Explorer.

For your Explorer Platinum I recommend taking a look at the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # CM11980-2. We have actually installed these on your model Explorer (see attached image and video) and found them to fit perfectly. These are really nice mirrors that will just clamp to the factory mirror housings and their adjustable bars allow you to position them further from or closer to the vehicle.

Two mirrors are included so this will cover both the driver and passenger side.

The model # CM11900 mirrors you mentioned trying are actually custom units that are designed for certain model years of the Ford Excursion and F-250/350.
