Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System rated for 7,000 lbs for Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 2000 year 6000# EZ Loader dual axle trailer. I need a axle for the front axle. The inside diameter is 67 5/8.Is it to old to find replacement parts. The disc brake assembly has broken off.

By "axle for the front axle" I believe you meant a total replacement axle and by diameter I believe you meant length. We may have a solution for you but we do not have any available with a 67-5/8" length.
Instead your best option is to use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System and while there are no 6,000 lb systems there are Timbrens with a 7,000 lb rating, the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Spindle w/ Brake Flange # TASR7KS01 or the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Drop Spindle w/ Brake Flange # TASR7KS02, each of which will work with Hub and Drum Assembly # 42866UC3-EZ.
The Timbren axle-less suspension systems are simply bolted or welded so you do not have to worry about finding an axle that meets any specific measurements. They also offer you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle because the Timbrens work independently so if there is a bump on one side of the road it won't rattle your entire trailer; this is also true because the Timbrens have progressive springs that absorb shock better than a traditional axle.
I have added links to the installation manual for this system as well as links to a couple video reviews of the system for you to take a look at.
