Anti-Rattle Device for 2-1/2-Inch Hitch Suitable for Use with Reducer Sleeve

I have a RAM 2500 with a 2.5inch receiver and a 2inch adapter is the threaded anti-rattle hitch pin long enough to work with this setup and still be able to put on the safety pin/clip after the anti-rattle pin is snugged down? I am wanting this set up to haul my kayak.

The threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt included with the Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender # Y01149 will not be long enough to work properly in a 2-1/2-inch hitch with a reducer sleeve like # C45405.

You certainly can still use another type of anti-rattle device, such as the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2-1/2-Inch Trailer Hitches # RM-062. You will still use the pin supplied by Yakima.
