Safety Chain Attachment Points on EcoHitch for 2016 Subaru WRX
Question:
I had a question about safety chains. I was going to pull a Uhaul trailer with my car and didnt see where you attach the safety chains? I dont know if they are required, but I would like to make sure that I have a safe setup for the trailer.

The EcoHitch Invisi trailer hitch part # 306-X7257 does have safety chain attachment points. Since the hitch has a concealed cross tube the attachment points are difficult to see once the hitch is actually installed. The safety chain attachments are the two brackets at the bottom of the hitch with the holes in them. I have attached a photo for your reference.
I am not familiar with the laws in your state but the use of two safety chains is the safest practice. You will want to cross the safety chains so if the trailer becomes disconnected from the ball the chains will catch the coupler of the trailer.
