Recommended Snow Cable Chains for 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander with 225/55-18 Tires

For cable style snow chains like the set you are looking at that will fit the 225/55-18 tires on your 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander I recommend the Titan # TC2029. These are confirmed to fit this tire size and the low-carbon steel rollers will provide nice traction in light snow. These are Class S compatible which means they work well with vehicles like yours that have limited wheel well clearance.

I also recommend adding a set of Tire Chain Adjusters like # TCMA2 to allow for an even tighter fit around the tires.

I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well. I do also recommend checking your copy of the owner's manual for your Outlander for any restrictions or guidelines when it comes to using tire chains.

The Titan Cable Tire Chains # TC1042 that you referenced are a bit too small for the tires on your vehicle.

I am far from an expert on snowmobiles but one would have to think such a large truck with the correct tires and chains would be able to make it through up to 2' of snow assuming you have clearance on the vehicle. In regards to the type of tire…

We have a similar set of Titan twist link tire chains that fit your tire size of 265/75-16 with the part #TC2228 but the size you mentioned would not fit so you would not want to go with them.
